Join us from June 7-9, 2024, at the serene For-rest Retreat in Salmo, BC, for an empowering Women’s Mountain Biking & Yoga Retreat. Nestled just 30 minutes south of Nelson, this retreat is the perfect blend of outdoor adventure and rejuvenating practices.

Kick off the weekend on Friday evening with a practical bike maintenance workshop, followed by a cozy gathering featuring wood-fired pizza, salads, and kombucha. It's a great opportunity to connect with fellow biking enthusiasts in a relaxed, welcoming setting.

Saturday is packed with activities. Start your day with a refreshing yoga flow and guided meditation in the yurt. After breakfast, join us for a mountain biking session led by professional coaches, including Natasha Lockey.

You'll spend three hours on local trails, sharpening your biking skills. Post-ride, unwind with a gentle yoga and stretch session, capped off with a healing sound bath during Shavasana. The evening promises more bonding over a delicious taco bar, a warm fire, and a relaxing sauna session.

Sunday keeps the momentum going with morning yoga and meditation, followed by another skills clinic on the trails at For-rest Retreat. After lunch, choose to relax or join a group ride at Salmo Ski Hill, perfectly rounding off the weekend.

The retreat, priced at $545 early bird (before March 30) or $645 thereafter, includes bike workshops, meals, coaching sessions, yoga classes, meditations, sound healing, and a group ride. Embrace this unique opportunity to enhance your mountain biking skills, indulge in soulful yoga, and connect with like-minded women in a beautiful setting.

Natasha Lockey

Natasha Lockey

Natasha is a PMBIA level 2 coach with a passion for mountain biking and a knack for instilling confidence in others. For the past 17 years, she has been coaching and guiding, both on snowboards and mountain bikes, and loved every minute of it. She has created the Bike Confidence Mastery Course and the Map Your Trail Bike Course to share her knowledge and expertise with others.

Natasha's coaching experience isn't just limited to the trails; she has also built a team of returning customers who can vouch for her teaching skills and the transformative power of her courses. When she is not on a bike or a board, she is usually curled up with a fantasy book or enjoying a lazy day in her camper.

Natasha is a firm believer that life should be fun, and tries to incorporate that philosophy into everything she does, whether it's riding an e-bike or an acoustic bike, or doing exercises to support her active lifestyle. She is fit and strong, thanks to a healthy diet and a love for biking and surfing. Not your typical coach; Natasha lives out of the box, splitting her time between Mexico and BC, Canada. But that's what makes her unique and, we believe, a great fit for anyone looking to learn, grow, and have fun in the process.
